Goodbye For Now

    Hi guys💗

   Hope you are doing well! This is my last blog post for this term so it feels a bit weird. Before taking this course, I thought that technology and English language teaching  should always cooperate since the modern-day requires modern-day education methods, my thoughts haven't changed; I still think that technology is a huge part of  ELT as our world is consonantly evolving.

   Before taking this course I really didn't know much about the things that we did in this course like an infographic or padlet. This course really taught a lot of things that I didn't know. I learned new, fun and creative ways to teach English and I got really inspired by them. Creating things that are used in ELT gave me ideas that I might use in the future myself. For example, I knew about word clouds but I didn’t know how to make them and customize them. Creating a world cloud myself, made me realize how effective it could be for English language teaching as it is very visual and memorable. My favorite task was...creating a blog lol. It was frustrating at first as I had no idea how to create and customize a blog page but when I started exploring the website I figured it all out and it turned out to be my favorite task :). Besides creating a blog, creating a movie poster was fun as well because I like the idea of designing something so I really enjoyed that. However, creating a podcast was challenging for me because I didn’t feel confident in my script and my voice.

   Overall, I had a lot of fun in this course and I think that if we could choose our own topics more in tasks ( like creating a padlet task), it would be much more enjoyable for me.

 

Anyway, it’s time for me to go...for now ;)
